Footage launched by Peruvian police reveals a person attacking a well-known Incan artefact in Cusco, with what they described as a metallic object.
In line with town’s tradition ministry, the incident prompted ‘irreversible injury’ to the 12-Angle Stone, which was as soon as a part of an historic palace.
A suspect was later detained and authorities stated they believed the individual behind the assault was intoxicated.
