France’s President Emmanuel Macron welcomed European leaders on the Elysee Palace in Paris on Monday for an emergency summit on the battle in Ukraine.

Peace talks on ending the battle are set to happen in Saudi Arabia between the US and Russia, and Russian International Minister Sergei Lavrov stated there was no position for Europe in any peace talks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated Kyiv wouldn’t be participating within the assembly between US and Russian officers on Tuesday.

Following the summit, German Chancellor Olaf Schloz stated Europe and the US should work collectively on safety, and Polish prime minister Donald Tusk stated there must be no choices about Ukraine with out its involvement.
